Custom British Diesel MotorcyclesWe here at British Chopper love old school as well as new school, simplicity as well as technology, and form as well as function. We have featured a broad range of bikes over the years, but this is truly a first. Ladies and gentlemen, we present our first custom diesel motorcycle. ![]() This bike consists of a Yanmar Diesel cement mixer engine, with no modifications, A BSA A10 gearbox and a custom built frame. Other parts used are as follows: custom exhaust, Aprilia RS125 front forks, brakes and wheel. It also sports an Aprilia RS125 rear wheel and brake running a Ducati rear master cylinder. Fuel is delivered via a modified Sportster tank, coated in black magic pearl paint. This bike was built by Gaz's Custom Shake in the UK at 07840533064, and is owned by Tom. Heres a photo of Tom on his bike. He is either built like Andre the Giant, or the bike is really small. I'm guessing that the dimensions of this custom bike are pretty close to that of a circus clown's. Regardless, we love it. Besides, British motorcycles are notoriously small for taller riders anyway. ![]() This custom British diesel motorcycle is only one example of the workmanship and ingenuity of the garage builders that create these engineering marvels. Visit our new gallery, Diesels, to see many more examples of one off custom British diesels. |
